That was the name I had in this otherworld after reincarnation. The world itself was a fantasy, medieval-Europe-inspired world of swords and magic called Ilvarta.

That otherworld was a world created by the god Ignias and the Igras Holy Faith, which worshipped the six gods—Ignias the Creator God and the five Role Gods—was widely believed.

When I was five years old, a large dog my father (Duke Rosenschwert) brought from somewhere barked at me. Startled, I fell backward, struck the back of my head hard against the ground and lost consciousness. While unconscious, it was as if I were dreaming and my memories of my previous life resurfaced.

When I woke up, I recognized my reflection in the mirror and my current name and was struck dumb.

Because I had reincarnated as what people call a “villainess”.

One of the nations in the world created by God Ignias, the Kingdom of Dianadyl, was the same world as the otome game [Destiny Love ~The Sacred Maiden and the Hero of Light~], which I had played quite extensively.

Commonly known as DisLove.

It was a very popular title, so multiple sequels and fan discs were produced.

The sequel to the original (the first game) was the second game, set two years later with the same protagonist.

The third game changed protagonists and was set one year after the second.

There may have been further sequels or fan discs after that, but as far as I know, only up to the third game and the fan discs for each title—six works in total—were produced and released while I was alive.

There were rumors that a fourth game might be released, but apparently I died before I could confirm that.

I don’t know how I died.

Whether it was an accident, illness, or murder… I don’t remember at all.

To begin with, I barely remember anything from when I was a Japanese citizen.

I don’t remember my name or appearance, or even my family structure.

I don’t remember what school I went to, what kind of friends I had, whether I had a lover (maybe I didn’t), what company I worked for or what kind of job I did, or anything about my coworkers or bosses.

What I barely remember is the country called Japan, common sense and knowledge from daily life, what I learned in school, that my gender was female and a vague feeling that I liked moving my body fairly well.

I can’t even remember what kind of personality I had or what kind of life I lived.

Ah, but I do vaguely remember that after graduating from university, I started living alone when I got a job.

Beyond that, I only have a rough sense that I probably lived until around my early thirties.

If there’s one thing I remember clearly, it’s that I must have been a hardcore otaku, because I remember the contents and knowledge of the games I played to a frightening degree.

I sometimes think that’s the least important thing to remember, but since I reincarnated into a game world I had thoroughly played, I was grateful that knowledge hadn’t disappeared.

After all, I’m a villainess. Having information can only help.

I reincarnated during the era of the first Destiny Love.

The villainess who appears in the second game is not Christina, but another young noblewoman.

And this first-game villainess, Christina, is a character for whom a 100% utterly disastrous ending awaits, no matter which route the protagonist Elise chooses.

The protagonist was originally a commoner girl from an extremely poor family, the kind that lives in the slums and her default name is Elise.

In this country, there is a custom of offering prayers of gratitude to the gods at a church on one’s birthday. While Elise was praying at the church on her fourteenth birthday, her entire body suddenly emitted a powerful light and a mark called a Holy Crest appeared on the back of her right hand, awakening the power of a Saintess.

The existence of Saintesses had not been confirmed for hundreds of years and if one were to be born, she would receive treatment equal to royalty.

Thus, by royal decree, Elise was suddenly adopted into the Baron Jansen family and one year later, the game would begin with her enrollment at the Royal Deal Academy, the stage of romance.

The academy is attended for three years, from the year one turns sixteen until the year one turns eighteen.

When Elise enrolls, she is fifteen, one year after being taken in by the baronial family.

In just one year, she had acquired almost none of the refinement expected of a noble lady and had virtually no knowledge of noble conduct, customs, or manners.

At an academy attended only by sons and daughters of nobility, Elise—who lacked proper behavior, noble common sense and manners—was met with strange looks and whispered gossip.

Even so, she did not break or bend. She earnestly devoted herself to her studies, steadily improving her grades and reputation at the academy.

She remained poor at noble behavior and ignorant of etiquette, but her innocent, straightforward nature gradually influenced those around her and little by little, they began to change and accept her.

Along the way, she meets the various capture targets, each with their own problems and worries and through many interactions and experiences, the relationships develop into romance.

Incidentally, there are seven main capture targets who can become Elise’s romantic partner.

In simple terms, their character types are as follows.

Alex, the scheming crown prince.

Leonard, the domineering second prince.

Daniel, the stiff intellectual with glasses.

Markus, the cheerful muscle-brained guy.

Oswald, the twisted, gloomy introvert.

Felix, the older teacher with an air of melancholy.

Michael, the cute younger boy type.

In addition to them, there are also two so-called hidden capture characters.

The first hidden character can only be unlocked after achieving the true ending with all main capture targets.

The protagonist’s helper character, Dirk, who is lighthearted and a bit of a clown.

The second hidden character is a difficulty-MAX character who can only be captured after clearing all events and all endings for every capture target, including Dirk.

He appears briefly in various scenes throughout the story, a taciturn and mysterious figure named Roland.

As mentioned earlier, Roland has the highest capture difficulty.

All stats must be at max, all events and endings for all characters—including Dirk—must be cleared and the intimacy level with every character, including Roland himself, must also be max.

The next most difficult characters are Crown Prince Alex and the teacher Felix.

For Alex, all stats must be at least 180 (max 200) and intimacy with all capture targets except the hidden ones must be max.

Felix has an abnormally large number of hidden elements. All stats must be 150 or higher, no hidden element can be missed and a hidden parameter must be at max.

These hidden elements and hidden parameters are particularly troublesome because, true to their name, they are not displayed anywhere on the game screen, making it impossible to check progress or values.

For the other capture targets, raising the stats related to what each character excels at, choosing responses that suit their preferences and helping resolve their problems and worries will naturally increase intimacy.

Each capture target has multiple endings, which change depending on stats, the type and number of events cleared and intimacy values.

Friendly acquaintance ending, friendship ending, more-than-friends-less-than-lovers ending, romance ending, true ending and three types of bad endings.

Every character has these eight endings.

I, the villainess Christina, appear no matter which route the protagonist chooses and am a terrifying evil woman who carries out extreme harassment that includes outright crimes.

Long, beautiful platinum-blonde hair with gentle waves, jewel-like eyes that shimmer with two beautiful hues from blue-gray to silver-blue and a beauty so peerless that men and women, young and old alike, are all captivated.

That is Christina Fitzering Rosenschwert.

However, her personality is the worst.

A monstrously prideful, arrogant, overbearing, selfish villainess.

She cannot stand not being the best at everything and abuses her position as a ducal daughter to do whatever she wants.

If the capture targets’ intimacy with the protagonist is low, they fall victim to Christina’s poisonous fangs, are abused violently and sexually in various ways and meet a miserable bad-end future where they become little more than her slaves.

That bad ending was extremely popular with a certain segment of users...

Christina’s most extreme and vile harassment occurs when the player tries to capture Alex, Christina’s fiancé.

Her actions are always excessively extreme, but against Alex, they are on another level entirely.

She relentlessly targets the protagonist’s (the Saintess’s) life again and again, launching criminal harassment—far beyond what could even be called harassment—using every conceivable method.

And I reincarnated as that villainess.

Knowing that unless the protagonist reaches a bad end, a 100% catastrophic future awaits me, how could I possibly do nothing?

I don’t ask for luxury. I don’t need to be rich. As long as I have a home that shelters me from the elements, daily meals and a job and income that let me live independently, that’s enough.

I was an extremely ordinary person to begin with. I have no objection to working and since I lived alone, housework is no problem.

The only thing I absolutely couldn’t do was cook…

I’ll learn that gradually. For now, I have to think about how to avoid the worst ending.

The biggest problem is that I, without fail, pick fights with the protagonist Elise at every opportunity.

In other words, if I simply don’t get involved with Elise at all, there should be no problem.

But doing nothing might be overly optimistic, considering the possibility of the game’s forced events taking effect.

So what I came up with was this: no matter what, I will not become a villainess.

‘That’s it! I’ll become a mob guy! First, I’ll stop being a woman! Even if I can’t change my sex itself, I can change my appearance, act as a man and live as a man!’

Finding a ray of hope, I immediately began taking action to live as a man.

I cut my long hair short, wore hand-me-down clothes from my brother who is seven years older than me and begged my father to let me learn swordsmanship and martial arts so I could behave more manly.

To increase my “mob power”, I consciously aimed to be plain, letting my bangs grow long enough to hide my eyes and wearing mostly dark colors like black, navy, brown and deep green.

Because my hair and eye colors stood out, I used magic to change them to dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Although the rest of my family all had similar blond hair and blue eyes, making me stand out in the opposite way, I avoided going out with my family as much as possible and when I had no choice, I would meet on site, part ways on site and act like a distant relative.

My family and the servants were all bewildered by the sudden transformation of a refined, breathtakingly beautiful young lady into a mob-looking boy acting and behaving like a male, but that didn’t matter.

I must thoroughly pursue plainness to become a plain mob guy.

However, to live, I want a practical skill, so I need vocational training that will allow me to get a paying job.

I researched various professions, but I was originally a noble lady meant to marry, not an heir.

I would eventually leave the ducal house anyway.

Then it would be best to find a job early and become independent as soon as possible.
