The next morning.

When Li sat down at the dining table, her parents were there with expressions that could not hide their embarrassment.

“Good morning, Father. Mother.”

When Li greeted them, both of her parents looked away at the same time.

“I am glad you seem to have enjoyed it.”

Li smiled pleasantly.

“Li, what do you intend to do with that chair?”

Her father was asking whether she planned to commercialize it.

The answer had already been decided.

“That is something meant for the family.”

“Yes, yes, I suppose so. That is for the best. That thing ruins people.”

Even so.

The dark circles under her father’s eyes had disappeared.

It was easy to imagine how refreshed he must feel.

Li took out a thick stack of documents.

It was a compilation of materials concerning pseudo magical creatures.

She had asked Trismegistus to organize it because she knew it would definitely be needed.

“And this is the item requested by Evans Ghe Bonaccorti. Father, may I leave this to you?”

Li placed a magic jewel in front of her father.

“Yes, I heard about it. That medicine, right? What is inside?”

“It contains the recipes I know and the actual samples. However they have not been tested, so please inform him that I cannot guarantee their effectiveness.”

“I see. Leave the rest to me.”

“And also,” her father added, showing a slightly embarrassed expression, “My thanks are late, but thank you, Li. I will take good care of that chair.”

“Li-chan! You still have extra experimental materials left, right?”

Her mother had already started reading the documents and immediately asked a question.

“Of course. They are stored in magic jewels and placed in the underground laboratory.”

After spending such a busy morning, Li headed to the academy.

It had almost been three months since her enrollment.

She wondered if she had not spent quite a dense and eventful time.

At that moment a thought suddenly crossed her mind.

The exams.

Next month the exams would take place.

Those exams would mark the end of the first term.

The members of the Rosenkreuz of the Rose Maiden Cross would probably have no problems with the practical exam.

However if there was going to be a problem, it would be with the written exam.

Would everyone be alright?

That was what Li had been thinking about.

“Lady Li!”

After that day’s lecture at the academy ended, Alberta rushed up to her.

“What is the matter?”

“About today’s Rosenkreuz of the Rose Maiden Cross meeting, I cannot attend because of family matters. I am very sorry.”

“In that case it cannot be helped. It is unfortunate, but Ally will have to take a break today.”

“Yes! Sister Li, I will do my best!”

Patricia was bouncing up and down energetically.

After saying that, Alberta left the classroom.
