Then once they were scattered, they were smashed and beaten down by attacks from its twenty legs or swept away and apparently it turned into such a mess it was pitiful to watch even though they were the enemy.

While telling me about what happened on the front lines today, the one pouring hot water over me was Nekyuf.

She’s a frontline fighter with the job “Assault” also known as a “Shock Trooper” and one of my fellow hero party members who fought as part of the vanguard in this battle.

Originally she was an orphan who took care of other orphans at a rural orphanage and when she turned twenty, she left the orphanage and worked as a merchant’s assistant, sending part of her earnings back to the orphanage that raised her.

Perhaps she had a natural aptitude for the job because during a transport job, she assisted a military unit fighting off a group of wild monsters and performed well enough to save them, which led to her becoming a “Shock Trooper” Assault, going independent and making a living by hunting monsters.

Because of those achievements, she received a request from the king and joined the hero party.

She has the vibe of a caring older sister and is friendly, with “～desu yo” as her verbal tic.

Right now inside a tent equipped so that hot water can be used, she was washing me clean after I’d been covered in Ortopasra’s bodily fluids.

"So what happened to the monster after that??"

"Yep, him and Mac too～And it felt like there were about three soldiers from the army as well."

Madocklun―nicknamed Mac. He’s another member of the hero party, a midline “Archer.”

Tall and skinny and with an obviously perverted look. The kind of side character you always see in anime or manga who’s constantly thinking about girls.

"Ahh, Mac huh. His skills are definitely top-notch but... yeah, he’s kind of a lost cause."

I was completely naked. Nekyuf was washing me wearing only minimal clothing—a sleeveless top and short pants—so both of us were pretty exposed.

Even though we were inside a tent, the walls were just thick fabric stitched together so if someone wanted to peek through the seams, they easily could.

"Geez, he’s always teaming up with Dikka to try peeking so even at inns I can’t relax in the bath."

Mac is a repeat offender when it comes to peeking at women bathing.

It’s surprising he’s still allowed in the hero party but his archery skills are truly first-rate so they can’t just kick him out.

"Yeah. And he knows exactly how far he can push it without getting seriously punished."

I get peeked at often too. Well, as long as it’s just peeking, I don’t really mind so I tolerate it but the other women definitely don’t feel the same.

'Oh, looks like they couldn’t see from their angle. Heh heh, the way Nekyuf’s slightly wet shorts hugged her butt was nice but I got a perfect view of Seti’s assets... Ahh, this’ll really help with today’s daily routine.'

With more than enough material to fuel his imagination, Madocklun grinned, drool dripping from his mouth.
